BENCHTOP EVALUATIONS
One of the key services we offer is creating benchtop simulations of various wastewater treatment systems to evaluate their ability to effectively treat current and anticipated increases in wastewater loads. We use specialized equipment and techniques to replicate the conditions of a full-scale treatment facility. By simulating the treatment process in a controlled environment, we can evaluate the effectiveness of the system and identify any areas that require improvement. We also use benchtop simulations to evaluate the impacts of industrial process water changes or additions on municipal wastewater treatment plants. Changes in industrial processes can significantly impact the quality and quantity of wastewater generated. We evaluate the impacts of these changes on wastewater treatment facilities and recommend modifications to ensure the continued effective treatment of wastewater. We also specialize in evaluating the ability of a wastewater treatment plant to remove constituents from industrial waste that cause failures of whole effluent toxicity tests. Whole effluent toxicity testing is a critical part of evaluating the effectiveness of wastewater treatment systems. Constituents in industrial waste can pass through a wastewater treatment plant and cause toxicity test failures. Benchtop reactors are useful in evaluating a wastewater facility’s ability to adequately treat a specific industrial wastewater.
